iPhoto is a fully-featured photo organizer and editor that enables you to import, manage, sort, edit and share your digital pictures from within a user-friendly and well-designed interface.

Apple released iPhoto 9.6.1 Thursday, an update that preps the way for migrating to Apple's upcoming Photos app. The update also includes a couple of bug fixes.
Iphoto 9.4
iPhoto has been Apple's consumer photo managing software for many years, but the company is planning to replace both it and the professional Aperture app with Photos. Release has been promised for the spring of 2015, and this update helps clear the way for that release.
